About NAAAC Membership

ArtisticChristians.com is just the first step in the creation of a new and comprehensive Christian ministry to be operated by an organization to be known as the North American Alliance of Artistic Christians.

The overall goal of the NAAAC (pronounced "N - Triple A - C") will be to unite artistically talented Christians throughout the United States --- regardless of age, artistic discipline, educational background or denominational affiliation --- so that they can individually and collectively accomplish things they could not accomplish on their own.

The goal of the NAAAC will not be to compete with or detract from local churches or from other art-related ministries already in operation, but to complement those ministries and to forge partnerships with those ministries in order to serve the common good.

The plan is to offer a wide variety of important member benefits to all NAAAC members, possibly including access to emergency funds, retirement benefits, group health insurance and other benefits designed specifically to contribute to the material well being of member artists so that they can experience a minimum of stress and a maximum of artistic creativity and productivity. Of course, all of this will require a great deal of planning and more than a little bit of fundraising. But the Bible says, "With God, all things are possible."

While many NAAAC members will choose to live and work in their own communities throughout the nation, plans are also being made for a residential Christian artists' colony to be known as the Christian Artists' Resource Center. Initially, it is likely that the organization's physical facilities will be modest, but the overall scope of the vision pertaining to the campus of the Christian Artists' Resource Center recently inspired one bestselling author to describe that vision as "magnificent".

At the moment, this web page is long on generalities and short on specifics, but there is a great deal of substance which has not yet been added to this site. Please bookmark this site and this page so that you can come back from time to time in order to watch as these ideas are more fully developed.

Meanwhile, if you are interested in becoming a member of the North American Alliance of Artistic Christians or in being kept apprised of developments regarding plans for the Christian Artists' Resource Center, feel free to contact me so that I can add you to my mailing list.

I have not yet created a formal "privacy policy", but suffice it to say that I respect individuals' right to privacy. I will refrain from selling or giving out contact information for private individuals unless specifically authorized to do so, and even then, only within the scope of the authorization.

This does not apply to information (particularly for public ministries and commercial enterprises) which is freely available via legitimate, law abiding web sites or other public information sources such as commercial books and magazines. By definition, such information is public information. In fact, one important function of ArtisticChristians.com will be to inform artistically talented Christians about various public resources which are available to them.

"P.S. The "impasto floral painting" shown on this page started out as one of my floral photographs. The image was created with the use of a variety of digital tools and filters in the inexpensive PictureIt! software program made by Microsoft. How cool is that!
